wmbMailpaQ is a not for profit organisation established in 1974 and continues through the support of Wesley Mission Brisbane.
wmbMailpaQ is a digital printing, mailing, packaging and warehousing service centre that employs people with disabilities and offers cost effective mailing, packaging and digital printing services. A recent change in focus to a strength based program has enhanced the skills of the workers and built self esteem and confidence.
wmbMailpaQ is an Australian Disability Enterprise providing digital printing, mailing and packaging services for South East Queensland.. In recent times, the focus has been on training workers with disabilities so they have the skills to supervise the workload on individual tables and maintain quality control of end sorting and packaging of products. The response from our workers has been outstanding. They have risen to many challenges and have reinforced that focusing on ability rather than disability is empowering and rewarding: not only to the workers but to the staff who have assisted in the transition.
Employment not only provides a means of additional income but it also promotes self esteem, confidence and provides an extended social network. wmbMailpaQ assists people with disabilities in a way that continually focuses on empowering people with disabilities to feel valued and skilled as employees.
